A first look at our JEANS!

by Kristin Glenn November 24, 2014

FABRIC-FOR-BLOG

The fabric is a stretch denim, excess from J. Crew's cutting room. These jeans are the last of our 100% surplus fabric styles (we've been slowly moving into all American- and Canadian-knitted fabrics!)

The stretch denim is  thicker and more structured than your typical "jeggings" -- but not nearly as heavy as a pair of classic Levi's. I'm REALLY wishing that I'd also made an XL size this time around-- most of us are bigger on bottom than we are on top. This is our first foray into the world of tailored jeans; our next pair of pants (capris for Spring!) will be more stretchy and less fitted. If you have a pair of the No Sweat Pants, the fit for the jeans isn't as forgiving. Go by your hip and waist measurements when ordering the jeans -- instead of just ordering what you ordered in the No Sweats! You may end up needing a size larger. As always, if fit doesn't work out, you can exchange (free!) for a different style or a gift card.

If you've pre-ordered and need to change your size, color, or address, just email us at hello (at) seamly (dot) co - we'll take care of it!

I'm expecting to ship out our first batch towards the end of next week.

If you'd like to pre-order, you can do that here. We'll have a few pairs left in our first batch, and another round is set to ship mid-December!
