LOOKING FOR THE VERSALETTE?

Tee & Tea

by Kristin Glenn June 16, 2016

A few weeks ago, Erica and I visited Stevie, the trash-free author of Trading Waste for Abundance, at her Brooklyn apartment. She generously let us style her in our favorite Seamly favorites — and grill her about her inspiring lifestyle.

Stevie has been virtually trash-free since April, 2015. (Like, all the trash she has produced fits into a mason jar, and it's not even close to full!) It took her a few months to prepare, but she's been living trash-free, plastic-free and even conflict palm-oil-free for over a year.

Needless to say, Stevie is a straight INSPIRATION to me and many. Take a peek at her Instagram for more tips and recipes for trash-free living.

We're so lucky she let us shoot, play, and have tea time in her lovely place.

We've got a few of these tees left at $20 each (over 40% off)  — snap up this summer staple that can be dressed up or down!

If you'd rather sew your own, you can buy the pattern (and fabric!) for this style over at Indiesew.
