Summer Style Ideas: The Utility Jacket

by Kristin Glenn July 13, 2016

SUMMER means we get to style the 4-in-1 Utility Jacket for a whole new season, in a whole new way. Here are three different takes on the jacket from our friends Stevie and Claire, and... me! Totally different styles (work-appropriate, weekend fun, and day-to-day) all with the same jacket.

(If you haven't met this piece yet, it's a 4-in-1 convertible jacket with removable sleeves and length, made of entirely biodegradable fabrics — a hemp-blend outer shell, and cupro lining. We initially launched this piece on Kickstarter!)

STEVIE

Summer office apropos here — worn as a vest over a light-colored dress. The Utility Jacket acts as a sleeveless cropped blazer and sharpens up the rest of the outfit. Polished, but still breathable — for sweltering city days. 😬

CLAIRE

Art of Organics #girlboss here, from our work-cation in Palm Springs a few weeks ago. I love the long vest as a layering piece over something a little more free-flowing, boho, casual...

KRISTIN

I've been wearing it long, with cropped mom-jeans and a fitted tank on cooler days. Then, totally stripped down as a short vest to layer over my basic maxi dress for nights out.
